I can only get linear movements out of this thing Now that I'm trying to remake it, I seem to be completely unable to make holes using circular interpolation. Thread milling requires less machine horsepower, so is better suited to smaller machines than tapping large threads. A single threadmill can cut multiple different thread sizes, saving toolchanger positions and tool changes. I've made this part before, but using a smaller fixture and a slightly different hole diameter (0.290") and had no trouble getting circular interpolation codes If a thread mill breaks, it won’t get stuck in the part the way a tap does. Not only is dispensing these extremely long, inefficient programs, but the holes I got from running them were undersized by 0.020" which has never happened to me before. That's not what I was expecting for a round feature. No problem, right? I thought not until I looked at the output code. I need to mill four 0.300" diameter holes 0.13" deep with a 3/16 or 1/4 end mill. Usually, I have no problem setting up a program - especially one this simple. I've been working with featurecam for a few months now but I've run across an issue that seems to have stumped me.
